Who can participate?
MIND SPARK is open to Rotaractors, Rotarians and members of the wider Rotaract Club of Madras Millennia network. Registration asks for your name, designation and club, so you should be able to name the club you are associated with. There is no entry fee.
How do I register?
Use the Start Challenge button and fill in your name, designation, club and email address. Registration is open until 5 September 2026 at 8:00 PM IST (UTC+5:30), or until the organizers close it.
Can I register more than once?
No. One email address can register only once for this quiz, and that rule is enforced by the database rather than only in the browser. If you try to register again with the same address you will be told it is already registered and offered the join flow instead. If you never received your join code, you can have it re-sent to your registered address.
I already registered. How do I join?
Use the "Already Registered? Join Here" button on this page. Enter the join code from your confirmation email — it is the long code beginning MM26 — and you will go straight into the waiting room. The join link in your email takes you to the same place with the code already filled in.
What happens after registration?
You get a unique join code and a direct join link by email, together with the event details. The same code is also shown on screen the moment you register, so you do not have to wait for the email to arrive. You also get a short Challenge ID, which is what you use afterwards to look up your certificate.
What happens in the waiting room?
You will see who else has arrived, a live Spark visual for the event, and a chat where you can talk to other participants while everyone gathers. Only first names and clubs are shown — no email addresses or other personal details. The chat closes automatically when the challenge starts.
What happens when the host starts the quiz?
Everyone in the waiting room sees a full-screen 5-second countdown — 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, START — and the first question appears by itself. You do not need to refresh the page or press anything.
What happens if my internet connection drops?
Your progress is safe. Every answer is stored on the server the instant you select it, so nothing you have already submitted can be lost. Reconnecting puts you back on whatever question the quiz has reached — the challenge is synchronized for everyone and does not pause or restart for one participant, so any question whose timer ran out while you were offline stays unanswered. If your browser is closed entirely, open the join link again and enter your join code to restore your session.
Can I retake the quiz?
No. This is a single live event with one synchronized run. Each question accepts one answer, answers cannot be changed once submitted, and you cannot go back to an earlier question. There are no retakes.
What happens after I complete the quiz?
You are asked for a short piece of feedback — a rating and an optional comment. Once the organizers calculate and publish results, your result screen shows your score and achievement tier, your e-Certificate appears, and a copy is emailed to your registered address.
Will my score appear on my certificate?
No. The certificate only displays the Gold, Silver or Bronze achievement category. Your numerical score is never printed on it — you can see your score on your own result screen, but it does not appear anywhere on the certificate.
Are there prizes?
No cash or physical prizes are being awarded for this event — it is Certificate Only. Everyone who takes part receives an e-Certificate carrying their Gold, Silver or Bronze achievement category.
How is the challenge structured?
50 questions across 4 sections — Rotaract (10), Around the World (15), World of Sports (10), Current Affairs (15). Every question carries one point, and the whole challenge runs within about 25 minutes. The timer for each question is issued and enforced by the server.
Who do I contact if something goes wrong?
Email racmadrasmillennia@gmail.com. On the day of the event — 5 September 2026, 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM IST (UTC+5:30) — please include your Challenge ID so the organizers can find your registration quickly.
