Registration

Registration is free. One email address may register once. A second attempt with the same address will be refused; if you have lost your join code, request it again and it will be re-sent to the address you registered with.

You must give accurate details. Your name, designation and club are printed on your certificate exactly as you enter them, so check them before you submit.

The organizers may close registration at any time, and may refuse or cancel a registration that appears to be duplicated, automated or misleading.

Taking part

The challenge is a single synchronized live event. Every participant sees the same question at the same time, and each question is open for a fixed period set by the server.

• One answer per question. An answer cannot be changed once submitted.
• You cannot return to an earlier question.
• There are no retakes. The challenge runs once.
• Do not use external assistance, reference material or another person during the challenge.
• Do not share questions or answers with anyone during the event, including in the waiting-room chat.
• Keep the quiz window open. Leaving it may be recorded for the organizers to review.

Your join code

Your join code is personal. It is the only thing that opens a quiz session in your name, so do not share it. The organizers are not responsible for a session opened by someone you gave your code to.

Chat conduct

The waiting-room chat is for participants to greet each other before the challenge. Messages must be civil and free of abuse, harassment, advertising and quiz content. Message rate is limited, and the organizers may hide a message or remove a participant. The chat closes when the challenge starts.

Scoring and results

Every question carries one point. Scores are calculated on the server from stored answers; nothing reported by your browser is trusted for scoring. Where two participants finish on the same score, the one with the lower total response time ranks higher.

The organizers' decision on scoring, ranking, eligibility and disqualification is final.

Certificates

Certificates become available once the organizers calculate and publish results. Your certificate shows your achievement category — Gold, Silver or Bronze — and never your numerical score.

Each certificate carries a unique ID and a verification link. Altering a certificate, or presenting one issued to somebody else as your own, voids it.

Connectivity

You are responsible for your own internet connection and device. Answers already submitted are stored on the server and are not lost if you disconnect, and reconnecting returns you to the live question. The challenge is synchronized for everyone and does not pause, extend or restart for an individual participant, so a question whose timer expires while you are offline remains unanswered.

Prizes

No cash or physical prizes are awarded for this event. Participation is recognised with an e-Certificate carrying the achievement category earned.

Changes

The organizers may reschedule, pause, shorten or cancel the event if circumstances require it, and will notify registered participants at the email address they registered with.
