What we collect

Registration asks for four things, all of which you enter yourself:

• Your full name — printed on your certificate and shown on the leaderboard if results are published.
• Your email address — used to send your join code and your certificate, and to reach you if there is a problem with your registration.
• Your club name — shown alongside your name on the leaderboard and printed on your certificate.
• Your designation — printed on your certificate.

What the quiz records

While you take the challenge, the application records the option you selected for each question, when you selected it, and how long you took. It also records a small amount of window-activity telemetry — such as switching away from the quiz tab — which the organizers may review for fairness. None of this is shared with other participants.

Your score, section breakdown and achievement category are calculated on the server after the event.

What other participants can see

In the waiting room, other participants see your first name and your club, and any message you choose to send in the chat. They never see your email address, your designation, your join code or your answers.

If the organizers publish the final leaderboard, it shows participant names, clubs, Challenge IDs, scores and achievement categories. Email addresses are never published.

Your certificate

Your certificate carries your name, designation, club, achievement category, the event details and a unique certificate ID. It does not carry your score, your email address or any contact detail.

Anyone holding your certificate — or scanning its QR code — can verify it is genuine. The verification page shows only the holder name, club, achievement category, certificate ID and event date.

How it is stored

Data is held in the application database hosted by our infrastructure provider. Session tokens are stored only as a one-way hash, so a copy of the database cannot be replayed to impersonate a participant. Access to participant records is restricted to authenticated organizers.

How long it is kept

Registration and result records are kept so certificates remain verifiable after the event. Waiting-room chat messages are event-day content and may be cleared once the event is over.

Your choices

You can ask for your registration to be corrected or removed by emailing racmadrasmillennia@gmail.com. Removing your registration also removes your result and invalidates any certificate issued to you.

Providing your data is voluntary, but the quiz cannot be run without a name, an email address and a club — there would be no way to send your join code or issue your certificate.
